             CARR               Citizens Against Road Restrictions

           Charter:

       CARR is in existence solely to protect our Hillsborough County, Florida collector roads from being restricted by volume and speed limiting traffic devices.  We believe that all of the residents of Hillsborough County have the right to free and unencumbered access to the major highways.

       A primary goal of CARR is to have Hillsborough County remove “Speed Humps”, “Speed Tables”, and “Speed Cushions ‘ from all county roads that are used by commuters to reach major roads or highways.  These roads (streets) have been identified by the county as “Collector Roads”.

       A secondary goal is to streamline the flow of commuter traffic throughout the county.

       A third objective is to insist on the development by Hillsborough County of at least two east-west road corridors between Bearss and County Line Road to connect US41 with Dale Mabry Hwy.
